The sixth edition of Tech Invest Egypt, an investment forum for the country's technology sector, is scheduled to take place in Cairo in early September 2026, organised in strategic partnership with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA).

What the forum is
Tech Invest Egypt sits in a familiar category: a state-partnered investment forum bringing together government agencies, local technology companies, international investors and service providers. The format typically combines policy addresses, sector panels, company showcases and bilateral meetings.
ITIDA's involvement as strategic partner is the structural detail worth noting. ITIDA administers most of the incentive machinery that outsourcing, electronics design and software export companies interact with, so its presence determines whether the forum functions as a genuine deal venue or as a communications exercise.
What these events usually produce
Three outputs are typical. The first is restated targets — export figures, employment goals, sector growth rates — which are useful mainly as a record of official ambition.
