Sending a news tip

Please include what happened, who is involved, and any document, filing or official announcement that supports it. We protect the confidentiality of sources who ask for it.

Requesting a correction

Include the article link, the passage in question and the correct information with a source. Our approach is set out in the corrections policy.

Press releases and pitches

Announcements are read, but nothing is published simply because it was sent to us. Cairo Stream does not run sponsored content, paid placements or advertising, so commercial requests of that kind cannot be accommodated. How we decide what to cover is described on the newsroom page.

Response times

We aim to respond to correction requests within two business days. Other correspondence is read, though we cannot guarantee a reply to every message.

No contact form

Cairo Stream deliberately does not run a web contact form: it would require storing personal data on our servers. Email reaches the same editors directly.
