Corrections Policy

How Cairo Stream handles factual errors, clarifications, updates and requests for correction.

Our commitment

When Cairo Stream publishes something inaccurate, we correct it promptly and transparently. We do not quietly delete or rewrite published errors.

How corrections appear

  • Correction — a factual error is fixed and a dated note is added to the article explaining what was wrong.
  • Clarification — wording that could reasonably be misread is sharpened, with a note.
  • Update — new developments are added to a running story, with an updated timestamp.

Requesting a correction

Email the article link, the specific passage in question, and the correct information with a source to editor@cairostream.com. Requests are reviewed by an editor.

Current status

No journalism has been published yet, so there are no corrections on record. This page documents the process that will apply from the first published article.
